Contractor Estimating Software That Uses the Proposal You Already Send

TradeGOAT prices a job from what it really costs you, then puts that number on the proposal you already send. You don't rebuild your proposal in somebody else's template to use it.

It starts from your document

You upload the Word file or PDF you send today. TradeGOAT reads your scope language, your terms, your warranty and your payment schedule. You confirm every fill-in spot against your own words before anything is saved. After that, your proposal is the template.

The price comes from the job's real costs

Crew, days, materials, travel, hotels and permits each go on their own line. Your overhead goes into the cost before the margin, so the profit on the screen is profit you keep. You set one margin, and you set the line you don't want to price below.

That number fills the proposal. It's one set of figures, typed once.

Signing starts the job

The customer signs online or on the glass, and the job exists the moment they do. A signed proposal is frozen. If the work changes after that, it goes on as a change order with its own price.

What comes after the proposal

The same tool dispatches the job, puts a ticket on the tech's phone and pushes the invoice to QuickBooks. You don't have to use all of that on day one. Start with the proposal.

Who it's for

I built it to run my own elevator company, and it's in use on elevator service work today. It works for elevator, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or any other trade that bids from its own document.
